Hey makewebgames:
Now ist been some time since Ive done some graphics, so I want to get back into it as its somthing to do. Here the signature I made today after 3 months. Could you please explain what could be better & what ruins it. Maybe ?/10 would help.

If you work with GIMP maybe you could help me on TV(Team Viewer)? Would really appreciate it.

I find it... messy. Also the image you used, is copyrighted... so not really safe to use it

The text is clearly readable, so very good there.
I'd just suggest putting a darker shadow behind the character, would bring it out to the front a little bit more.
Also, the star he is going to trough is hidden in the texture, making it glow, or using a shadow effect will make it more visible and would bring out the point of what is really happening in the picture.

PS. you can use the picture, you don't have anything to worry about unless your using it commercially or selling it.
