Alpha phase ended - Let's start the beta

Some people don't know what an alpha phase is:
- Alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet (beta the second), so it's basically the first phase of the development. You don't have all features and the one you have quiet certainly don't work.
- Beta phase means you normally have most if not all features, but there is quiet certainly still bugs around.
After the beta, you should have one ore more Release Candidate (RC) which should be bug free and complete, no more features will be introduced at this point and as soon as all reported bugs (or at least most of them) are squashed, you go to production.
Said that, I can confirm you that the engine left the alpha phase, and we now entered the beta one. March is for sure the release month, yet maybe not the first week of it. We will have more than enough features to please you with even at start with more modules planned to be released after the release date and some even will be free to all owners. The package containing the engine, a couple of templates (one even designed by Peter), loads of modules (around 50), some initial data to fill the database, an installer and upgrade mechanism, access to the wiki documentation, and 1 year worth of free updates / upgrades. All that for the price of 100$. If I shall quote illusions: "seeems very very cheap for what it can do, id like to see it raised a bit"
Just to give you an idea:
The code currently contains 8'964 lines of PHP
970 lines of Javascript
and 40 MySQL tables.
No, the PHP code is not simply garbage don't worry:
or more complex code:
However each engine function does have a comment describing what it does and what the parameters are. Also remember that our wiki doc will grow over time and will contain at the end all the needed pieces.
