My final idea was to do something like a online game resource site. Where article's and open source game art is posted as well as music. I guess I could post the anime midi's on there, and just add a license on there saying they can't be used in paid games. In the game resource site, could include intro screens, character portraits, game over screens, items. Not just images, but source file's as well. People would add images to there favorite collections and contributors would view who like's there images.

The thing with a image upload site is that no-one wants to register on yet another site when they are already registered on ton's of sites where there art is already at and it would also use a ton of bandwidth.

Final note; I wouldn't mind doing something like deviant art where people can post art, writings, or music, but this would need a pretty fancy design which I am no good at and since I like to write poetry, I could contribute content quiet frequently. ;-)

Well I have once again decided to switch my “area” and have decided I am going to stick with designing. I know that I have switched between designing and coding more than a few times but now I feel I have made the correct and final decision.

Although I haven’t fully given up on coding and do still do small coding jobs for myself and clients my main focus now is on designing.

In the past few weeks I have been brushing up my skills and taught myself how to slice and code PSD layouts in HTML\CSS which was a big step for me but it actually came quite naturally and wasn’t as hard as I thought it was going to be. I have also been working with new people and building new client bases which has been fun and interested to meet new people and work alongside them helping them create their projects.

My main priority at this very moment in time is building my portfolio as for why I have recently had my special offer on which went quite well to help me get some things out there and my next step is doing my personal site and getting all my examples of work added up on there to help broaden my horizons so to speak and bring in new clients.

Another project is a game that is going pretty well between me and a friend, we have most of it done and are getting ready to release it for alpha testing PRETTY soon so everyone keep a look out for that and I will be posting more information about it soon. The only other person to have seen it apart from me and my partner in making it is Sniko and I think he found it “interesting”.

I also have various other “small” projects to work on and hope to be releasing them very soon but once again more information will be posted about them also.

I know that I have someone of a bad reputation around here but I am working to fix that now and believe that I have started doing so with some of the people around here.

Description

The Oracle Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.7 allows users to run Java applications in a browser or as standalone programs. Oracle has made the JRE available for multiple operating systems.

The Java JRE plug-in provides its own Security Manager. Typically, a web applet runs with a security manager provided by the browser or Java Web Start plugin. Oracle's document states, "If there is a security manager already installed, this method first calls the security manager's checkPermission method with a RuntimePermission("setSecurityManager") permission to ensure it's safe to replace the existing security manager. This may result in throwing a SecurityException".

By leveraging unspecified vulnerabilities involving Java Management Extensions (JMX) MBean components and sun.org.mozilla.javascript.internal objects, an untrusted Java applet can escalate its privileges by calling the the setSecurityManager() function to allow full privileges, without requiring code signing. Oracle Java 7 update 10 and earlier are affected.

This vulnerability is being attacked in the wild, and is reported to be incorporated into exploit kits. Exploit code for this vulnerability is also publicly available.
Impact

By convincing a user to visit a specially crafted HTML document, a remote attacker may be able to execute arbitrary code on a vulnerable system.
Solution

We are currently unaware of a practical solution to this problem. Please consider the following workarounds:
